Optimization of Discharging Electrodes of a Multi-Chamber Electrostatic Precipitator for Small Heat Sources

چکیده

On the way to reducing emissions released into atmosphere, there is an obstacle in form of solid pollutants produced by households, namely burning fuels small heat sources. In this article, authors deal with development a low-cost electrostatic precipitator, which would be able significantly reduce production particulate matter. This tubular precipitator concept, enhanced dividing precipitation space four chambers, each has ionization electrode. With investigated structural arrangement, it possible increase size collection area without affecting external dimensions separator. The essence article was focus on design electrode, which, addition function negative also fulfill element proposed geometry. work contains technical for shape subsequently examined using ANSYS Fluent software. conditions under corona discharge will occur electrodes and how matter captured separation device were help simulations electric field intensity. According achieved simulation results, calculations made theoretical efficiency particle collection, reached value approximately 78%.
